Items

The Items page allows to you to view and/or update the list of items that can be charged to your boaters.

Once you've created this list, you can charge a boater for the purchase of an item as follows:

- On the boater's application, go to the Actions tab
- Click the Add button to add an action
- Select an action type of "Additional Item"
- Pick the item that you want to charge for
- If this is an item that is charged based on a meter reading, enter the new meter reading.  We will calculate the quantity sold and show it in the the quantity field.  You can override the quantity if needed.  For example, in order for the meter readings to work properly, you'll need to enter an initial meter reading and then override the quantity to 0.
- If this is an item that is NOT charged based on a meter reading, enter the quantity sold.
- Once the quantity is entered, we'll calculate the charge based on the quantity and the current per unit charge.
- Click the Save button.

You can update the list of items as follows:
- To add a new item to the list, click the Add button in the top right corner of the list.  This will take you to the Item page.
- To edit an item in the list, click the name of the item.  This will take you to the Item page.
- To remove an item from the list, click the red X to the right of the item name.
