Overview

This page allows providers to configure the access rights for one of its security roles.

Page Content

Role Name - This is the name of the role that appears that you are configuring the role for each user.

Role Description - This is a longer description of the role that only appears on the Roles page.

Rights -

There are four columns, one for each access type.  The first column is for view access, the second column is for adding, the third column is for editing, and the fourth column is for deleting.

There are rows for different record types:  wait lists, applications, berths, vessels, etc.

For each record type and access type, you can select one of the following rights:
- None - No access
- User's Data - Access to records associated with applications where the user is the applicant (anything records that show up in the My Applications section of the user's home page)
- Filtered Data - Records associated with the user's filter, if any.  For example, an inspector might have a filter that includes just the moorings that they are supposed to inspect.  For more information on filters, see the User page.
- All - Access to all records
