Payout

Not Rated Yet

Use this page to specify how to receive the fees collected with the Stripe online payment gateway.

If you do not fill out this form, you will receive a monthly check for the money collected on your behalf, minus any fees that you owe us for that month.

Settings Tab

Invoice Method

This option lets you specify how Online Mooring will handle fees that are charged to you.  The two options are:

- Net invoice.  Let's use an example where Online Mooring collects a single $100 application fee from a boater, and that Online Mooring charges a $6 to you to process that application.  With the "Net Invoice" option, we will generate a single credit memo to you for $94 (+$100 - $6 = $94).  This way, you don't need to cut any checks to us to cover our fees, unless our fees exceed the amount of money we collected on your behalf.

- Separate invoices.  Using that same example, with the "Separate Invoices" option, we will generate a credit memo to you for $100 (which indicates that we will be paying you $100), and we will also generate an invoice to you for $6 which you will need to pay.

Desired Payout Method

Check - if you choose this option, we will mail you a check for the amount collected on your behalf.

Electronic Funds Transfer - If you want money to be sent automatically to your bank, choose this option.  To do this, Stripe requires you to complete a setup process.   Once you Save this setting, you'll see additional tabs appear (Terms and Conditions, and Organization) that you'll need to complete.

None - This is not recommended.  Use this option if you want us to hold on to your money until a later date.

Desired Payout Frequency

This allows you to control how often you will be paid.  If you want to receive money by check, Monthly is the only available option.  If you want money by Electronic Funds Transfer, you can get paid more frequently.  Please note that even if you choose the daily option, the best case scenario is that you'll receive money within 4 business days of when it was paid (it takes 2 business days for the money to arrive in Stripe's bank account, and then takes 2 more business days for the money to arrive in your bank account).

Monthly

Weekly

Daily

None - This option is not recommended.  Use this only if you want Stripe to hold on your money until some later time.

Payout Status

This lets you know how you will currently be paid.  This is based on your stated preferences on this tab, but may be overridden if you want payments by EFT and haven't completed Stripe's setup process.
