Activity

Overview

This screen allows users to record an activity that has occurred that is related to the permit.  Some activities have associated fees, and some have associated timeframes.

Adding, editing, or deleting an action may change the status of the associated permit.  For example, adding an "Application" action will change the status from Applying to Applied.  Adding a "Wait List Placement" action will change the status from Applied to "Waiting".  Adding an "Issued" action will change the status from "Waiting" to "Issued".  And so forth.

Fields

Action Type - This specifies the type of activity that was performed against the permit.  This list of activities is controlled by the administrator on the Actions screen.

Action - This is the date that the activity was performed.

Expiration - If the action type that you selected has an expiration date, this field will appear.  This is the expiration date.  If you are entering information about a new activity and leave the expiration date blank, the expiration date will be calculated based on any formulas specified by the administrator.

Fees Charged - If the action type that you selected has an associated fee, this field will appear.  If you are entering information about a new activity and leave the fee black, the fee will be calculated based on any formulas specified by the administrator.

Comments - You can optionally enter comments about the activity.

Text - This field appears for the communication action type.  If you sent a communication using OnlineMooring, the text of the message appears here.

Navigation

Users can get to this screen in one of two ways.  They can get to this screen to view/update an activity for a single permit from the Permit Activities screen.  They can get to this screen to add an activity for multiple permits by clicking the "Add Action" link on the Search Results screen.

Security

Users can view this screen if they have been assigned Permit Add or Permit Edit rights.
