Transient Search

Overview
This page allows you to start the process of making a transient reservation, which will allow you obtain space for your vessel(s) on a short-term basis.

After you fill out this application, we will search for providers that offer transient space nearest to your proposed location, and show you the fees that each provider charges.  You will then be able to choose to book a transient space with your desired provider by filling out an application and paying fees online.  Your reservation is not complete until the provider approves your application.

Data Entry Fields

• ​Location - Enter the name of the town or water body where you'd like to make a transient reservation.  For example, you can type in "Hingham, MA" or "Boston Harbor".  If you enter an ambiguous name (such as "Westport"), we will ask you to clarify the location by selecting one of the possible locations that we display to you.
• Arrival - Enter the date/time that you'd like to start using a transient berth.  If you leave the time blank, we will assume that you want to start using the transient berth at the standard check-in time, which varies by provider.  If you enter a time that is prior to the standard check-in time, the provider may charge for an additional day.
• Departure - Enter the date/time that you'd like to stop using a transient berth.  If you leave the time blank, we will assume that you want to stop using the transient berth at the standard check-out time, which varies by provider.  If you enter a time that is after the standard check-out time, the provider may charge for an additional day.
• Berth Type - If you have a preference for the type of berth that you are assigned to, please select that type of berth here.
• Amenities - If there are any amenities that you must have, please check off each of those amenities.  In the case of electricity, you can specify the minimum number of amps of electrical service that you require.
