Whenever changes are made to the fee formulas, or the variables that they depend on, that change is used for all future calculations. However, those changes are NOT automatically made retroactively, because we don't know which applications you'd want to update and how far back.
You can, however, do a bulk update to fees that have already been calculated. Here's how:
Step 1) Do a Search for applications that you want to update. For example, you could use the Dashboard to search for all applications with a status of Renewal Under Review. Or you can use the Navigation menu (Data > Applications) to display a list of all applications.
Step 2) At the bottom of the Application Search Results page, click the "Recalculate Fee" button.
Step 3) This will bring up a page that allows you to select in more detail which actions on the application should be recalculated. Here are your options:
- Action: you'll need to pick one Action Type from the action drop-down list. We'll ignore actions that are not what you selected.
- Date Range: you'll need to specify a range of dates of when the actions occurred (the Action Date value on the action). By default, we pre-populate dates to cover all actions that have been performed this year, but you can override those dates to make the date range larger or smaller.
Step 4) Click the Recalculate Fees button at the bottom of the page.
