Search Applicant

Overview
This page lets you enter search conditions that you want to use to generate a list of applicants.

Search Fields
The list of search fields is configurable, so it will appear differently for each provider.   In order for a search field to appear on this page, Online Mooring must allow searching by that field, and the field must be configured by the provider so that it is visible on the search page.  To make a search field visible, go to Configuration > Fields, click on the field you want to appear, then click the "Visible On Search Page" option.

Search Tips
The more you type into the search fields, the fewer results you will get.  If you don't find what you are looking for, consider blanking out some of the conditions you've entered on the search screen and try again.

Wherever you can type a text value, we are using a wildcard search.  For example, if you type an applicant name of "William", we will find all applicants where the first name, middle name, or last name contain the value William, even if the name is Williams or Williamson.

Also, wherever you can type a text value, you can type a value of NULL to look for records that have no value in that field (or those fields).

Applicant Name - we will search all name fields for each of the text entered.  If you type "Joe Smith", we will find records where the text "Joe" appears in one of the name fields, and "Smith" appears in one of the name fields.

Phone Number - we will search all the phone fields for the text you enter.  We ignore all non-numeric characters in your search string and in the phone fields in our database, so don't worry about whether there are parentheses or dashes in the phone number.

Address - we will search all the address fields for the text you enter.  Everything that you type needs to be contained in a single address field in the database.
