Payment Schedule

Not Rated Yet
Overview
If you don't require boaters to pay the amount due all at once, you can use the Payment Schedule page to define the rules about what the boater needs to pay and when.

You can get to the Payment Schedule page by going to Configuration > Actions, choosing an action, and then clicking the Payment Schedule button.

Fields
On this page, you'll need to provide information about each payment that the boater needs to make:

Application Type
If you have multiple application types defined for your site, and the payment schedule is not the same for all application types, you'll select the application type that this schedule applies to.  Otherwise, you can leave it blank.

Ordinal
This indicates which payment this is.  For the first payment, enter 1.  For the second payment, enter 2, and so on.

Due Date
This indicates when the payment is due, an you can enter any T-SQL expression that returns a date.  You could simply specify a date, such as '1/1/2016', but you'd have to remember to come back to change that date before your next payment cycle begins.
To specify a date later in the year, you could use a formula like:  '12/31/' + cast(year(ActionDate) as varchar)
To specify a date next year, you could use a formula like:  '1/1/' + cast(year(ActionDate) + 1 as varchar)

Payment Type
We provide the following options for paying part of the balance due:
FixedAmount - This allows you to specify a specific amount due on this date.  For example, you could indicate that $250 is due.
Percentage - This allows you to specify a percentage of the remaining balance that is due on this date.  For example, you could indicate that 50% is due.
Remainder - This allows you to specify that the remaining balance is due on this date.  The Payment Amount is ignored for this payment type.
FirstNight - This is used for transient reservations, and indicates that the first night's charge is due on this date.  The Payment Amount is ignored for this payment type.

Payment Amount

The meaning of this field depends on which Payment Type you selected.
