Applicant Search

Overview

This page provides a way to search for applications that meet very specific criteria.  An easier (but less exact) way to search for applications is to type in the search box that appears in the upper-right corner of every page in Online Mooring.  The "easy" search in the top right corner will find any applications where your search text matches with any reference number, applicant name, vessel name or reg # or hull ID, or berth number.

Each provider can configure which fields are available on the Application Search page.   Most of the options filter the search results, and entering multiple search items will return the applications that meet ALL of your search conditions.

The search filters usually include:

Reference Number - search for application where the reference number contains the text that you type

Application Type - if you have multiple application types in your harbor, you can use this option to limit the results to one type

Application Status - this will limit your search results to applications that have the selected status

Applicant Name - will find applicant names that contain the text you type

Email - will find applicants with matching e-mail address.  This is useful when you send e-mails to all of your applicants and you get some bouncebacks.

Phone - will find applicants with matching phone number (in any field).  This is useful when you have a caller ID and want to see what information you have on file for the caller.

Vessel Name - will find applications for vessels that contain the text you type

Length - will find applications for vessels that have the specified length

Berth Number - will find applications associated with berths that contain the text you type

Location - will find applications associated with a particular harbor

Mooring Type - will find applications with a specified mooring type

Inspector - will find applications for a particular inspector

Inspection Status - will find applications that need inspection, or that are current

Document Status - will find applications that are missing necessary documents, or that have them

Payment Status - will find applications that have not been paid, or that have been paid

Action - will find applications with actions that meet your specifications.  You can specify which action you are looking for, and a date range when the action was entered, becomes effective, or expires.

In addition to the filters listed above, there are also two special fields at the bottom of the search page.

Sort - allows you to specify how the results will be ordered. 

Search Option - this allows you to combine multiple searches into a single result set.  If you want to add the results of a search to the results of the previous search, use the "Add" option.  If you want to exclude the results of a search from the results of a previous search, use the "Remove" option.  If you want your search results to include only the results that appear in the current search and the previous search, use the "Filter" option.  Normally, each search completely "Replaces" the previous search
results.

You need "Permit_View" capabilities to view permits other than your own, in order to view this page.
