The communications module in Online Mooring helps you to more effectively communicate with your applicants, in routine situations as well as emergency situations.
Authorized individuals can send messages when needed to applicants by e-mail, text message, or printed letter.
Providers can also configure automated e-mails to be sent to you, the applicant, or the inspector when certain actions or payments occur. For example, you can send out an automatic e-mail notification to applicants when you approve or reject their application, or when you record the receipt of a payment. You can get notified when applicants submit an application. You can send out past due notices to applicants automatically, and much, much, more.
All messages sent using Online Mooring are archived and attached to the associated application, for recordkeeping purposes. This allows you to demonstrate what you have communicated to the applicant, and how and when you communicated it.
You can create messages using many of the standard formatting features available on most word processing packages. You can save your message as a template, so that you can reuse the same message in the future.
Your messages can also include information from the database, using a "mail-merge" capability. You can easily insert any field from the database.
