- You tell Online Mooring about the different groups of berths that you want to make available for rental. For each group, you specify the vessel size limitations, the fees, and the available amenities. You also specify reservation rules, such as standard checkin/checkout times, minimum/maximum durations for reservations, how much advance notice is needed on the reservations, and whether you want to allow wait lists.
- Boaters search for available berths by entering a location (a town, a harbor, a marina name, etc.), the dates when they want a berth, the size of their vessel, and any amenities they need. All berth providers in their requested area appear, and if there are any available berths that meet their requirements in your harbor, they can submit a reservation request.
- Boaters fill out the reservation request. You can control what fields will appear on the reservation request form, and which fields are required.
- Typically, we configure the site so that you get an e-mail when the reservation request is completed and paid. The e-mail contains the information entered on the reservation form. The e-mail contains buttons to accept or reject the reservation.
- Online Mooring also provides tools for managing the information about your harbor, including who is supposed to be where, wait lists, inspections, charts of your harbor, and more. If you already have a harbor or marina management system, that is great. If you don't, you can use these tools at no additional charge.
- Online Mooring pays you at the end of the month for all reservations requests completed during the month.

"Online Mooring is a fantastic product. We have used it for two complete seasons to manage more than 1100 moorings and it has made our job much easier. The ability for customers to pay their permit fee online has been a big hit and one less thing for us to worry about at renewal time. Furthermore, the interface with Google Earth to help locate moorings and manage our anchorage is a huge time saver. Finally, the service from Online Mooring staff is second to none. They have been very responsive to suggestions to improve their product making it even easier to use as well as quick responses to questions or issues. In a nutshell…great product!”"
- Alan Twombley, Falmouth, ME
"The application is great! It has saved me literally hundreds of man hours in bringing the amount of data need to do my volunteer job into a manageable, easy to use, robust system. And I haven't even explored the Google Maps mooring placement option!. The support I have received is on par with the best in the industry - quick to respond, fast resolution, and willingness to make additions/changes that are not part of the basic application. I can't recommend it highly enough. "
- Tom Bell, Darien, CT
“Online Mooring has made managing our 900 moorings a breeze. Fando constantly adding new features and improvements and the recent webinars have been most helpful. They are very receptive to customer requests. No harbor should be without it!”
- Peter Reich, Shelter Island, NY
“This system has made my job much easier. We had 80% of our mooring holders use this system in the first year. The support is outstanding and the customization made it fit perfectly for our Town. I can access the system anywhere I am near a computer to make supporting my mooring holders easier“
- Eric Copithorne, Ipswich, MA
"Thank you for your assistance in setting up the mooring application process for the City of Stamford. Everyone at the Harbor Commission was impressed with the quality product offered by your company. We feel your technology offers our citizens an easy and efficient way to access the system. In addition, it truly cuts down on the paperwork and processes that were previously employed on the government side."
- Jim Bartley, Stamford, CT
